In Nakama Bondō, the goal is to get the most points as possible in a game about knowing your nakamas. There will be five rounds, changing partners each round, and with each round, every person getting a chance to earn up to 15 points (possibly more with the Wheel of Chance). You will earn points in three main mini-games; the titular Nakama Bondō, Namaka Vibeō, and Nakama Understandō. Every round, each new pair of nakamas will spin the wheel to see what challenge awaits them!
In Nakama Bondō, the goal is to know your opponent and hope they know you as well. You will have to answer 5 questions about your randomized partner. Your opponent will have to do the same for you. Every question that you answer correctly about your opponent is 2 points for yourself, 1 point for your partner. If both of you manage to correctly answer all 5 questions about each other, you will earn 15 points. The partner who the question is about is allowed two rerolls of questions.
In this game, it's up to you to understand your partner. One nakama will be the guesser, and the other will be the describer. The host will give the describer a word or phrase, and it's the guesser's job to figure out what that thing is. The describer will have 25 seconds to describe the word (they are obviously not allowed to use that word or variations of that word.) If the guesser is able to figure out the word in 25 seconds or less, they get a chance to move on to the next question. There will be up to 5 words. With each subsequent word correctly guessed, more points will be awarded, up to 15 points. Though, each word will be more and more difficult to describe.
You and your partner can choose when to step out and take the earned points. However, the moment you are unable to guess a word, both you and your partner lose all your accumulated points. The describer is allowed one reroll at any time at any level as long as the clock has not hit zero.
In Nakama Vibeō, the goal is to know what your partner likes and doesn't like. You need to know their vibe. In this game, three different Pokemon will be displayed on the screen. Both partners will have a moment to look at the Pokemon and, in their head, decide their favorite. They will show the host (not their partner), who they have selected as their favorite of the three. Once the host has reccievd their answers, the contestants must guess which Pokemon their partner had selected as their personal favorite. If they both guess each others, they will both reccieve 3 points. If only one partner guess correctly, they will reccieve 1.5 points. There are 5 rounds of this, garnering a total of 15 points.
In Nakama Matchō, you will be paired up with the host. You will have two options of which version of Nakama Matchō that you want to play:
The host will pick a number, 1-15. You will have to try and guess which number the host has selected. If you guess correctly, you will get 5 points. If you are one away, you will get 4 points, if you are two away, you will get 3 points, and so on. This will be done 3 times for a total of up to 15 ponts.
There are 4 hand symbols: rock, paper, scissor, and twist. Facing away from each other, the host will pick a hand symbol and the contestant will pick a hand symbol. Then, the two will turn around to reveal their symbols. If the symbols match, the contestant will earn 3 points. This will be done 5 times for a total of up to 15 points.
After each game, both participators of the last game can decide if they want to partake in the Wheel of Chance. The Wheel of Chance offers the opportunity to possibly increase the amount of points you take back for that round. However, be careful. It is very possible to lose all your hard-earned points for that round in the wheel as well. Take a look at the wheel below.
